What we collect
This site has one form, on the contact page. When you use it, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to submit, along with the general category you select. We do not ask for anything else.
Like most sites, our servers keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses and request timestamps, which help us keep the site available and protect the contact form from abuse.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find this site and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser and records standard information such as the pages you view, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and the kind of device and browser you use. We read it in aggregate, to see what is worth writing more of. We have not turned on the advertising features in Google Analytics, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
How we use it
We use what you send through the contact form to read your message, route it to the right people on our team, and respond. We store submissions in our own database and send a copy to our team by email so we can follow up.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate the site and our email, and only so they can perform that work for us.
How long we keep it
We keep contact submissions for as long as we reasonably need them to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, and then we remove them. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then rotated out.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, or if you have any question about this notice, reach us through the contact page.
If you would rather not be counted in our analytics, most browsers let you block or clear cookies, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere. The rest of the site works normally either way.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our practices change. When we do, we will revise the date shown above.
